The Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation's On-the-Job (OJT) Training Program — an investment by the federal government and the State of Maryland to put Marylanders back to work — offers area employers a unique opportunity to hire screened qualified applicants, while saving a substantial amount of money on training costs.

This On-the-Job Training program, available to employers throughout Maryland, provides employers a direct reimbursement — 90 percent of the trainees hourly wage for up to their first six months of employment. Employers are assigned a local Business Services representative to assist them throughout the duration of the On-the-Job Training initiative.
