Destination Fort Meade Guide

Several years ago, a decision was made that will bring a new and added prosperity to the State of Maryland and to the areas surrounding Fort George G. Meade. The decision, which was made by the BRAC (Base Realignment and Closure) Commission and enacted by Congress, will bring as many as 45,000 to 60,000 jobs to Maryland and up to 28,000 households. Fort Meade has also been designated as the home of the newly created U.S. Cyber Command that will stand-up this important mission in our region.

To help provide information to and welcome those who are transitioning here through BRAC or Cyber Command, the Fort Meade Alliance has produced the 4th edition of Destination Fort Meade Guide. This comprehensive guide is designed to introduce our businesses, organizations and government agencies, as well as to showcase all that the Fort Meade region has to offer.  This 4th edition includes useful information regarding community events, cultural activities, housing, educational institutions, area attractions, vital statistics and more.
