February 23, 2021 — Solving the Cyber Workforce Shortage Forum

On any given day in Maryland, more than 22,000 cybersecurity jobs stand vacant. After extensive work, in September 2020, the Fort Meade Alliance released “Top Challenges in Acquiring CS/IT Talent in the Fort Meade Region,” a white paper identifying the key challenges in Cybersecurity/Information Technology (CS/IT) education and workforce. The forum presents the challenges, as well as work completed by small groups to identify how we can tackle these challenges as we grow the CS/IT workforce.

October 8, 2020 — Key Leaders Series 

In the midst of this pandemic and an approaching election, hear the dynamic conversation from two national leaders. Topics include what the future holds for businesses large and small, how will Maryland compete, the threat from our adversaries, the future of cyber and education and workforce.

August 7, 2020 — DISA Leadership in Action

This informative virtual event for small business entrepreneurs featured two sessions. The first session featured DISA’s senior Contracting Leadership discussing various contracting topics that affect DISA and small business. The second session included valuable information about two of DISA’s premier contracts—SETI and ENCORE III.

June 30, 2020 — Acquisition Guidance Webinar Series: National Security Agency

This session welcomed back the National Security Agency (NSA) to share updated information related to doing business with the agency during the pandemic. Diane Dunshee, Deputy Director, Business Management & Acquisition and Deputy Senior Acquisition Executive reprised her role as a speaker, sharing the virtual stage with Maria Taylor, Deputy of the Office of Contracting, Maryland Procurement Office.
