DISA Business Match
In partnership with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), DISA Business Match is a full-day matchmaking event to connect small businesses with industry primes and DISA officials.
Providing unprecedented access to tenants and contractors at Fort Meade as well as federally elected officials, Industry Day offers deep insight into the missions, challenges, business opportunities and procurement trends on post.
DISA Small Business Conference
Created specifically for small businesses that work primarily in the Information Technology space or provides Professional Support Services and in partnership with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), the DISA Small Business Conference helps companies who work or want to work with DISA understand culture, context and processes to help them get ahead.
In response to recognizing the nuances of challenges only small businesses face, MBC invites leaders in the Fort Meade region to meet monthly with the FMA small business members to present, discuss and answer questions on topics ranging from teaming and contracting, online security and recruiting to shifting trends, cost volume requirements and state and county resources.
Micro Business Mentorship Program
The Meade Business Connect (MBC) Committee has developed a program focused specifically on the mentorship of micro business leaders within FMA’s membership. The goal of this program is to support the industry bench depth that the community needs and to assist in the development of new and young businesses by getting the chance to meet and network with large business hosts. Companies must complete an application to be reviewed by the MBC Committee in order to be selected to participate.
