TJ Greenier of Clarity Business Solutions, Inc. and Adam Smith of SageCor Solutions will share their experiences to help you as a small business owner to find a path forward through the change. About Our Guest Speakers

TJ Greenier

TJ has a passion for data and application usability. Data analysis and use is everywhere in our lives and proper organization and processing is critical to application success. He has become an expert in data modeling, application development and transitioning large legacy systems to modern data storage solutions.

As Clarity’s President, TJ has honed a strong sense of the marketplace. He provides focused direction, helps drive Clarity’s growth, and offers plenty of opportunity for input from employees. Prior to launching Clarity Business Solutions in 2006, TJ worked in various capacities as a software engineer and technical lead.

TJ enjoys volunteering with the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA). He has served as the Young AFCEAn (YAC) chapter president, Vice President of Science and Education, Vice President of Technology and lead for the STEM Kickstarter grant program. TJ currently serves as Executive Vice President of the Central Maryland’s chapter. He has worked with local schools to promote STEM education and encourages involvement from Clarity employees in many AFCEA activities.

Originally from Western Pennsylvania, TJ earned a B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and his M.B.A. from Pitt at the Joseph M. Katz, Graduate School of Business where he was honored with the Dean’s Outstanding Student Service Award. TJ lives in Maryland with his wife and two sons. When he’s not consulting and coding,

TJ enjoys supporting his kids’ sports activities, skiing, and time spent with family and friends.

Adam Smith

Mr. Adam Smith is CEO and Founder of SageCor Solutions, LLC, a leading-edge engineering firm that develops and delivers innovative and highly specialized data analytic, High Performance Computing (HPC), and software capabilities and solutions that meet or exceed today’s highly demanding Intelligence Community mission needs.
Adam holds both a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering from Ohio Northern University and a Masters degree in Computer Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.

Adam possesses a strong technical background, starting with his career at the National Security Agency (NSA). While at NSA, Adam worked on developing and implementing complex algorithms designed Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) and became the technical lead for a very large and specialized HPC program. As the technical lead, Adam gained valuable knowledge and experience on large scale system integration, leading-edge Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) design, and extremely advanced cooling and facility design requirements. While in the lead role, Adam also saw an opportunity to provide very specialized HPC solutions, corresponding analytical capabilities, software, and support. His vision was that these capabilities could be supplied by a highly specialized engineering team providing value-added solutions and unique HPC hardware, software, and integration skills. Today, SageCor Solutions is a heavily relied-upon partner that is living its vision — delivering on extremely complex and challenging mission demands with high integrity and trust.

Adam also balances a busy work schedule with a busy family schedule. He is married to Nicole who he met while attending Ohio Northern University. Nicole is a pharmacist and they have a 4 year old son, Beau, that Adam is teaching how to be an avid fan of both the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns, as they love to hang out and watch football together on the weekends.
