Roxanne Wood

Roxanne Wood currently words for Boeing Intelligence & Analytics as the Director of Strategic Capture; providing strategies for growth within the MPO market segment, as well as adjacencies such as USCYBERCOM, DIA and other intelligence agencies.

She has 25+ years of experience in technology, strategy, and business development across the US DoD, and the Intelligence Community (IC), with emphasis on Cyber, SIGINT and analytic operations. Experience spans multiple engineering disciplines (SONAR, RADAR, Satellite, Systems, Software, and Analytics/Machine Learning). Strong execution mindset: proven performance in leading change, establishing strategic business direction/growth portfolios, roadmaps, investment analysis, and driving R & D innovation. Success in delivering profitable revenue results and building organization talent, new market expansion, competitive analysis and developing new product strategies. Strong customer engagement for existing and new business pursuits.

Previous assignments were capture manager for large NSA acquisition, approximately $500M, program manager for a $540M Cyber contract and strategist for growth opportunities with Cyber Command, FBI and DHS.

Additionally Roxanne has participated for several years in various community service activities:

• Meade High School (2011-2013) – Member of the Meade High School’s Homeland Security Signature Program Steering Committee 2011-2013. Representative of the IC community providing valuable contributions to the Meade Homeland Security Integrated Community Stakeholders Team.

• Holyoke Girls (Girls Inc.) (2016) – Lockheed Martin representative. Chosen as a mentor based on STEM background. Mentored four (4) girls from the Holyoke area of Massachusetts. Monthly tag-ups during the summer. Worked with the Girls to encourage further interest in STEM related fields.

• Catonsville Community of Baltimore County (CCBC) (2017-2018) – Mentored a returning student to the STEM field in CCBC (Dundalk). Met monthly to discuss career aspirations and paths as she entered a four year college. Introduced her to the Lockheed Martin intern program.

• Meade High School (2019) – current. Working with Jim Hopper of Meade High School. As a representative of the Boeing Intelligence and Analytics (B I & A), a member of the IC Community, and a STEM background, will be providing assistance for Homeland Security Program Capstone projects. These projects will be presented to Boeing I & A senior leadership.

Roxanne holds a Master of Science in Technology Management from University of Maryland, University College and a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science with a minor in mathematics from Towson Status University. Additionally she holds a PMP certification.
