NSA, Deputy Senior Acquisition Executive 

Tammy Griffith is the Deputy Senior Acquisition Executive and Chief, Acquisition Resources & Analysis, leading acquisition logistics services, program management oversight, and corporate operational requirement management. As Deputy Senior Acquisition Executive, Tammy helps deliver major acquisitions and ensures the acquisition process is followed consistently and appropriately.

 


Tammy served as the Cybersecurity Directorate (CSD) Portfolio Manager where she oversaw and integrated all CSD resources to ensure CSD’s mission outcomes were achieved. She also served as the Business Contract Management Group and Program Executive Office Chief for Operations, Engagement & Policy, and the National Security Operations Center, leading finance and acquisition oversight for these customers. Tammy also has experience as the Program Manager for implementing the Mission Data Repository Increment 2 for metadata – a critical program for the NSA Analytic Modernization strategy and the Intelligence Community’s IT Environment. She served as the NSA Program Manager deployed to Department of Homeland Security to provide technical and programmatic leadership to the Einstein 3 cyber defense program. She has also served as the JOURNEYMAN and E-Space Program Manager.

Tammy has more than 30 years of business and leadership experience since starting at the Agency in 1989 as a High School Work Study. She has a diverse set of experiences to include serving two overseas tours and a Joint Duty Assignment with the Department of Homeland Security. She is certified DAWIA Level III in both Program Management and Business & Finance Management. Additionally, Tammy is a member of the NSA Acquisition Corps.

Tammy holds a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Maryland/University College.
