The Meade Business Connect (MBC) Committee has developed a program focused specifically on the mentorship of micro business leaders.
The Goal
The goal of the Micro Business Mentorship Program is to support the development of emerging businesses by giving them the opportunity to meet and learn from FMA Prime Hosts and small business functional subject matter experts. Companies must complete an application to be reviewed by the MBC Committee in order to be selected to participate.
Applications to the FY26 Micro Business Mentorship Program are now closed. Please contact Tim O’Ferrall at toferrall@ftmeadealliance.org with questions about the program.

Congratulations to the Members of the 2026 Cohort
Program Format
The format includes one cohort of 8-15 small business executives that meet in the late afternoon every 3-4 weeks for a series of content sessions. Meetings begin in late August and end in the beginning of June. The first hour begins with presentations from an FMA Prime Host and the second hour is dedicated to presentations from subject matter experts. Included in all meetings is critical networking among the cohort and leaders. Locations for each meeting would rotate and be hosted at FMA Prime Host offices. The sessions will be hosted by FMA Board of Directors Shana Cosgrove of Nyla Technologies and Bill Dunahoo of Nexxis Solutions.
Qualifications
Your organization must be a small business with under 15 employees, with a preference given to companies with less than 10 employees.
Preference given to companies who have some formal or informal experience working with Fort Meade organizations such as USCYBERCOM, NSA and DISA.
If selected, your company must become a member of the Fort Meade Alliance. We will ask you to designate one person from your company to be the consistent representative. That representative must commit to attending 90% of the meetings scheduled (see full schedule below).
