March 3: DISA’s Douglas Packard to Speak at FMA Industry Day

Douglas Packard, Director of the Defense Information Systems Agency’s (DISA) Procurement Directorate and Chief of the Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, will participate in the government panel during the Fort Meade Alliance’s Industry Day, which will be held on Thursday, March 3.

Mark your calendar and plan to attend to learn more about DISA’s priorities, initiatives and contracting opportunities. Packard will be joined by acquisition executives from other top Fort George G. Meade tenants, including U.S. Cyber Command and the National Security Agency, forecasting the next 18 to 24 months.

In addition, we are expanding our commercial panel this year with the help of the Buy Maryland Cyber program. A panel of corporate cyber security professionals will discuss the commercial cyber landscape, including threats, challenges, information sharing and increasing cyber awareness from senior company leaders and boards of directors.

Industry Day provides unprecedented access to FGGM tenants, government contractors and FMA 5-Star member companies. The event will be held from 7:30 am to 11:30 am at the BWI Westin. Registration is $65 for FMA members and $85 for nonmembers.

Exhibit opportunities are available for FMA 5 Star members. Contact Will Burns for details at wburns@ftmeadealliance.org or (410) 850-4940.
