The Fort Meade Alliance has welcomed its fifth Micro Business Mentorship cohort, bringing together a new group of companies for a year of learning, relationship building, and business development. These business owners bring specialized capabilities, ambition, and a willingness to learn from one another as they build the knowledge and connections to grow and pursue new opportunities in the Fort Meade region.
Throughout the year, cohort members will engage with established companies, hear candid stories from fellow entrepreneurs, and work through challenges facing their own businesses. Supporting these companies also serves a broader regional purpose: A stronger small business community expands the expertise, partnerships, and capacity available to meet the needs of government and industry.
That work depends on leaders who volunteer their time and share their experience. At a recent session, Jason Servary and RealmOne colleagues Amy Orzechowski, David Worthington, and Lindsay Metcalf welcomed the cohort. Dan Catrambone of Mesavita, LLC shared his business journey, while Shana Cosgrove and Bill Dunahoo led a group presentation.
FMA also thanks CACI, Lockheed Martin, and Praxis/GDIT, who have already committed to upcoming sessions. Additional companies and business leaders to come as the year progresses. Their involvement reflects the generosity and commitment that make the program possible.
FMA celebrates the companies taking this next step and thanks the hosts, mentors, and business leaders investing in their success. Click here to meet this year’s cohort members and follow their progress as they build relationships and put new insights to work in the year ahead.
