Tech Talk: How Vulnerable is Your Vehicle

Join the Fort Meade Alliance’s Meade Business Connect (MBC) for the next MBC Opportunities & Connections on May 12 to network with regional business leaders and learn more about the threat landscape and state of security in automobiles.

Our speaker will be Mike Ridge of Silent Cyber. Ridge is an entrepreneur and security systems engineer with national security experience. Silent Cyber performs embedded cyber security work, specializing in the automotive market. The company develops tools to help measure security and has worked with major manufacturers to develop an attack framework to test security products in vehicles.

During this brief and interactive discussion, attendees will learn more about the state of cybersecurity in automobiles and gain insights from Ridge about transitioning to commercial work and attracting and retaining talent.

The MBC Opportunities & Connections series gives you the opportunity to meet with prime contractors and other key connections in the Fort Meade government contracting community in a small group setting. Connect with members who have experience and knowledge in cybersecurity and government contracting, as well as finance, consulting and legal services.

The event will be held from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Thursday, May 12, at the Chesapeake Innovation Center. Registration is $35 per person for FMA members and $55 for nonmembers.
