The Fort George G. Meade Resiliency Services portal is now live after more than a year of extensive work to create, design and execute this vital community resource.
“Connecting our military population with community agencies provides a valuable piece to the resiliency puzzle,” says Karol Yox, Employment Readiness Program Manager and Ombudsman Coordinator for the Fort Meade Fleet & Family Center.
Covering a range of categories including education, employment & employee assistance, behavioral health resources and social and community opportunities, the Resiliency Services portal connects service members, veterans, DoD civilians and their loved ones to a diverse selection of resources and services from any smartphone or desktop.
The Resiliency Services portal, made possible by the Fort Meade Alliance, TowerCares and CACI International, was created to complement Fort Meade’s resiliency campus’ hands-on training and support for the Fort Meade community. It will eventually include physical kiosks that can be used on location at various spots throughout the installation.
“The resiliency services portal is a game changing resource for Fort Meade,” Yox said.
