NextGen Leaders Plan for Growth and Impact

The Fort Meade Alliance’s revamped NextGen Leaders Group is off to a strong start in 2025.

Designed for professionals aged 40 and younger from FMA member companies, the group is built around three focus pillars: Networking Opportunities, Professional Development and Giving Back. The group has grown to more than 70 individual members since the fall.

The 10-member planning committee, led by Chair Brittainy White of RealmOne, is planning many opportunities for young professionals to grow professionally and to give back to the Fort Meade region.

“I’m thrilled for a jam-packed NextGen Leaders Committee schedule ahead,” White said. “With a focus on professional development, networking, and giving back to our community, we’re not just building careers – we’re building a stronger, more connected future for all FMA NextGen Leaders.”

The NextGen Leaders plan to partner with other young professional groups in the area, including hosting a joint happy hour with AFCEA’s Emerging Leaders on March 6th at Guinness Open Gate Brewery in Baltimore.

Additional events this year include Professional Development workshops on topics like networking and public speaking, happy hours, community service initiatives, and fundraisers.

Young professionals who are interested in becoming members of the NextGen Leaders group are encouraged to sign up online. More information about the NextGen Leaders and upcoming events can be found here.
