The Fort Meade Alliance held its inaugural Elementary and Middle School Tech Mania at Meade High School on March 18. Nearly 120 fifth and sixth grade students from Manor View, Meade Heights and Brock Bridge Elementary Schools and MacArthur and Meade Middle Schools visited their future high school to experience hands-on STEM-related learning.
The students explored biased AI with Learning Undefeated and Northrop Grumman, created binary code bracelets with US Cyber Command, participated in a mobile hacking demonstration with the National Security Agency, and made slime and catapults with Meade High’s National Technical Honor Society students.
