Leadership Transition

On June 12, the Fort Meade Alliance marked a leadership transition as Joe Pacileo of MasterPeace Solutions concluded his three-year tenure as president. In a ceremonial handoff, the gavel was passed to Roxanne Wood of Boeing Intelligence & Analytics, who will begin her own three-year term on July 1.

“I am both proud and grateful of all that we have accomplished together during my time on the FMA Board,” said Pacileo, who will remain on the FMA Executive Committee. “The Fort Meade Alliance continues to grow with energy, innovation, and a steadfast commitment to serving our community. Roxanne is the right leader at the right time to take the Alliance to the next level of success.”

The Fort Meade Alliance also bid farewell to several dedicated board members. Vice President Diana Gresham of Tectonix, LLC, and Secretary Will Metts concluded their service.

Additionally, Jennifer Crocket, Kennedy Krieger Institute; Paul Gentile, Panther, LLC; Maureen McMahon, Anne Arundel County Public Schools; and Greg Prossner, COPT Defense Properties also retired from the board, leaving behind a legacy of leadership and impact.

“These board members played a vital role in advancing the mission of the Fort Meade Alliance, Pacileo said. “Their dedication, insight, and guidance have helped shape our programs and strengthen our impact.”

FMA members also voted in several new and returning board members. Mike Cameron of Divergent-LLC was elected Vice President; Erica Dobbs of Dobbs Defense Solutions will serve as Secretary. Minah Woo of Howard Community College was also elevated to the Executive Committee.

Bill Dunahoo of Nexxis Solutions and Mike Sellman of The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company were re-elected to a second three-year term.

Newly elected board members beginning their first term include Dr. Jamie Benson, Kennedy Krieger Institute; Kevin Hamlin, Anne Arundel County Public Schools; Krysta Herring, COPT Defense Properties; Donté Lewis, Vine Technologies; Ashley Rush, Praxis Engineering; Amy Steinberg, Vibrint and Jim Weyant, AV.

Returning members of the Executive Committee include Treasurer John McBeth of John McBeth, Inc.; Doreen Harwood of DEHarwood, LLC and Steven Tiller of Whiteford, who continue to offer their leadership and strategic guidance to the FMA.

Returning board members also include Kathy Castellano Burk, Baltimore Washington Medical Center Foundation; Shana Cosgrove, Nyla Technology Solutions, Inc.; Amy Gowan, Anne Arundel Economic Development Corp.; Doug Holthaus, J.P. Morgan Private Bank; Jennifer D. Jones, Howard County Economic Development Authority; Angie Lienert, IntelliGenesis, LLC: John Martin, Dynamics Technologies, LLC; Tanya Millner, Anne Arundel Community College; Kirkland J. Murray, Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corporation; Kendra Parlock, NPower Maryland; Jack Terry, Leidos; Brittainy White, RealmOne. Their continued service brings valuable continuity, insight, and dedication to the Fort Meade Alliance’s mission.
