Guest Speakers Lori Ratzburg of the Maryland Department of Commerce and Wesley MacQuilliam of Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation will share with us the State and County resources available for small businesses, including updates and changes in the context of the current business climate.

About Our Guest Speakers
Lori Ratzburg
Lori Ratzburg is the Senior Business Development Representative with the Maryland Department of Commerce (MDC). With 24 years of experience in the banking industry, Lori has a 14-year history with MDC having several roles, including finance specialist and business recruitment, as well as a small business representative. Lori has seen a lot of change in the business climate over the years and brings this breath of experience to her presentation.
Wesley MacQuilliam
Wes MacQuilliam is the Vice President, Business Development and Real Estate for Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation. He has worked at AAEDC for 12 years as a member of the business development team which is tasked to assist Anne Arundel County businesses with their growth and job creation as well as attracting new businesses to the County. His primary focus is on the manufacturing and distribution industries. Wes also acts as an ombudsman on permitting and zoning issues. He has an understanding of the needs of the broker and developer community and how to navigate the local regulatory environment.
Prior to joining AAEDC, Wes worked for Murphy Commercial Real Estate Services and focused on commercial real estate sales and leasing. He also previously served as the Executive Director for the Anne Arundel County Commission on Government Innovation and Effectiveness.
Wes currently serves as the Vice President of the board of the Northern Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce.
