If you’re an emerging professional, join the Rising Stars Network for the next presentation of the Executive Speakers Series on January 31, 2023 beginning at 5:00 p.m. For this round, we welcome Latisha Rourke of Lockheed Martin to discuss how women in leadership roles are helping to change the landscape of the workplace and why this is important for industry success. Men and women will take a look at some of the common barriers for women, learn how to navigate certain challenges and discuss how supporting the career development of women influences employee recruitment and retention, as well as the bottom line for all businesses.
About the Speaker
Latisha (Tish) Rourke is Vice President of the Cyber and Intelligence (C&I) market segment within the Lockheed Martin Rotary and Missions Systems (RMS) business area. Tish is responsible for a $600 million portfolio of programs that deliver multiple capabilities that supports national security requirements. Her role supports the intelligence community, Department of Defense and other government organizations. Tish also serves as the general manager for the three Hanover, Maryland business campuses that are the primary performance locations for the programs in support of the C&I organization.
Throughout her 30+ years with Lockheed Martin, Tish has held leadership roles in engineering, program management and business development contexts. Additionally, Tish serves on the Board of the World Trade Center Institute. With a B.S. and M.S. in electrical engineering from Syracuse University, Tish completed the Lockheed Martin Executive Online Program with Columbia University and Berkeley University in 2020.
