FMA’s Rising Stars Network is organizing a group of volunteers to help Warrior Canine Connection (WCC) make much-needed fence upgrades in time for the upcoming service dog training graduation.

WCC is a national non-profit that enlists recovering Warriors in a therapeutic mission of learning to train service dogs for their fellow Veterans in need. WCC Golden and Labrador Retriever service dogs complete approximately two years of training to help Veterans with mobility loss, hearing or vision loss, traumatic brain injury, PTSD, anxiety or depression.

All of WCC’s programs and services — to include placement of its highly-skilled service dogs — are provided at no cost to Veterans and Military Families.

This event is for FMA members only and registration is required. Details about specific tasks, supplies and working farm safety and attire will be sent after FMA receives your registration. WCC requires all on-site volunteers to also complete a separate online emergency contact form and liability waiver in advance of their visit. All these details and more will be emailed directly from FMA after registration.

Your registration fee covers the cost of supplies needed to complete the repair work for our Day of Service (box lunch provided). Any remaining funds will be donated to WCC’s area of greatest need.

Space is Limited — Register Early!
