Nutritional cooking programs at Fort Meade are off to a great start for fiscal year 2025. Monthly Meal in a Mug classes are in full swing with 14 participants in August. Additional scheduled classes are on September 25th and October 30th at the Education and Resiliency Center in Kuhn Hall.
In addition, the FMA is supporting the Fort Meade Wellness Center’s NOW (Navigating Organizational Wellness), a training program aimed to deliver holistic wellness education to service members. The program occurs three times a year at Fort Meade and includes Meal in a Mug as a part of the training. FMA will be teaching the Meal in a Mug class again in the December NOW training.
The FMA Family Cooking Classes, in partnership with Healthy Little Cooks, are joining our monthly lineup starting September 17th at the Potomac Place Neighborhood Center, where families will come together to learn how to make quick meals for busy families. There will be new cuisine each month.
