In recognition of Military Spouse Appreciation Week in May, the Fort Meade Alliance partnered with Army Community Service, the USO, Blue Star Families, and several local organizations to honor the military spouses who play a vital role in supporting service members, families, and the Fort Meade community.
The week kicked off with volunteers distributing 500 flowers provided by the Fort Meade Alliance at the Commissary and PX to recognize the strength and support military spouses provide. The celebration continued with a lively Bingo Night, where 58 spouses gathered for an evening of fun, connection, and appreciation.
The event was supported by 25 businesses and organizations from across the Fort Meade region that donated prizes to help create a memorable experience for attendees. The Fort Meade Alliance extends its thanks to all partners, volunteers, and donors who helped make Military Spouse Appreciation Week a success and to the military spouses whose commitment help keep our military and community strong.
